EFA - Electro Facial Attachment - Facial Muscle Toning

The Faradic EFA Attachment has been specially designed to harness the strength of "EMS Faradic Current" allowing you to tone, smooth, lift and firm the deeper muscles of the cheeks, jaw-line, neck and chest (décolletage), while increasing oxygen and blood flow to the muscles and the skin.

A faradic facial uses gentle electrical pulses to contract muscles in the face, neck and décolletage producing an overall toned and youthful effect. How to give yourself a Non-Surgical Facelift at home

1st Movement - Lifting and smoothing the décolletage or chest area

  1. Apply a generous amount of gel to this area and turn the Intensity Dial to number 1.
  2. Make sure the hand piece is held firmly against the skin. 
  3. Slowly increase the intensity control until a slight tingle is felt. 
  4. Suggested level for this area is approx. around 5 depending on your skin sensitivity.
  5. While the pulse is active apply slow, firm upward sliding movements from the area in line with your arm pit up to the collarbone.
  6. Work from the outer to the middle of the chest.
  7. Repeat each movement 8 times.

2nd Movement - Smoothing and firming the neck

  1. Again apply a generous layer of gel to this area and change the Intensity Dial to number 1.
  2. Slowly increase the intensity until a comfortable pulse is felt.  
  3. Suggested level for this area is approx. around 3 depending on your skin sensitivity.
  4. While the pulse is active apply slow, firm upward sliding movements from the collarbone to just under the jaw line.
  5. Work from the outer side of the neck upward to the base of the ear and move inward to the centre of the neck.
  6. DO NOT run the hand piece over the wind pipe.
  7. Repeat each movement 8 times.

3rd Movement - Lifting the jowl area

  1. Apply the gel from the neck to top of the cheeks.
  2. Change the Intensity Dial to number 1.
  3. Slowly increase the intensity until a comfortable pulse is felt.
  4. Suggested level for this area is approx. around 3 depending on your skin sensitivity.
  5. Again with slow, firm  upward movements when the pulse is active slide the hand piece from under the jaw line to the bottom of the lip lifting and firming the "double chin" area.
  6. DO NOT go over the mouth.
  7. Work from the middle of the chin area, along the jaw line with short upward movements stopping under the cheek bone and hold for 4 seconds.
  8. Move along the jaw line to the side of the ear.
  9. Repeat each movement 8 times.

4th Movement - Lifting the cheeks and side of the mouth

  1. Apply a generous layer of gel from the jaw line to the top of the cheek bone.
  2. Change the Intensity Dial to number 1.
  3. Slowly increase the intensity until a comfortable pulse is felt.
  4. Suggested level for this area is approx. around 3 depending on your own sensitivity.
  5. Using slow, firm upward sliding movements when the pulse is active, move the hand piece from the jaw line up the face to the top of the cheek.
  6. DO NOT go onto the delicate under eye area.
  7. Work from the side of the mouth to the outer facial area running parallel to the ear.
  8. AVOID the temple area
  9. Repeat each movement 8 times

5th Movement - Lifting the eye brow muscle

  1. Apply a generous layer of gel from under the eye brow to the top of the forehead.
  2. Change the Intensity Dial to number 1.
  3. Suggested level for this area is approx. around 2 depending on your skin sensitivity.
  4. Apply upward movements when the pulse is active sliding the hand piece from the eyebrow to half way up the forehead and hold for 4 seconds. 
  5. Move along the eyebrow from the middle to the end.  
  6. AVOID the temple & eye area.
  7. Repeat each movement 8 times

At this point take a moment to observe how the side you have worked on has lifted, smoothed and plumped. Now you are ready to move onto the opposite side repeating all the movements from 1 to 5.
